Shine your copper

Massage some ketchup over the copper (cooking pans, décor, knick-knacks etc) and watch it dissolve the tarnish away. The acid in ketchup is responsible for this easy copper cleaning. If you notice some stubborn spots, add a pinch of table salt while you polish.

  1. When I bought copper pans, the guy who was selling us the pan set taught us to use lime with salt and scrubbing the pan with half of the lime. It does work, but it does not last too long.

  2. If you try my hint, please, let me know the results! I'll check my files to see if I already have the "lime and salt" one that you just mentioned. If I don't have, I'll add and publish it here soon! Thanks!
